Growing Hearts

Our "second phase" programming for moms; this program fits mothers that already have children in grade school. Many moms find they are struggling with parenting their quickly growing children and can benefit through enhancing their parenting skills further through this peer-to-peer support program as well as tapping into some other life skills challenges that are offered on a weekly basis. Many moms face unique challenges as they walk through the different stages of their child's ever growing needs and we are here to assist them. For many whom, for various reasons find themselves single parenting their children through some of their most impressionable years prior to their teens, this program is here to support your particular Life-Season. This program will also include a mom's bi-monthly newsletter for the participants, keeping them in the loop with parenting tips, easy step recipes, monthly challenges & special events.

Our Eye-Spy Squad program runs concurrently with our Thursday Morning Programming, the Eye-Spy Squad program is free and designed for the infants and children of mothers enrolled in our Growing Hearts and MOPS programming only. Our weekly programs run Thursday mornings from 9:30am-11:30am October to May for the exception of holidays *Pre-Registration required.

M.O.P.S

(mothers of pre-schoolers):: this program is "phase one" programming that is geared directly for our soon-to-be moms; new first time moms; and mothers of pre-school aged children only. This peer-to-peer support offers basic day-to-day enhancement of life skills, focuses in on various infant and toddler parenting tools, weekly peer-to-peer mom support along with various other topics specifically geared to this particular Life-Season. This program offers weekly challenges and tips for new moms, empowers and equips mothers to be the best parents they can be for their infants and pre-school aged children. This program will also include a mom's bi-monthly newsletter for the participants, keeping them in the loop with parenting tips, easy step recipes, monthly challenges & special events.

24/7 Dad

This Fatherhood Initiative program addresses issues resulting from fathers who are absent from the home, or, if at home may be disengaged or struggling with the healthy parenting relationship they desire to have in the life of their sons and daughters. Some topics covered are::

- Self-awareness, self-care, and fathering skills
- Masculinity
- Understanding self, self-worth and self-esteem
- Handling and expressing emotions
- Role of spirituality as part of self
- Physical and mental health
- Role of the father in the family
- Relationship between fathering and culture
- Discipline, rewards and punishment
- Expectations and child development

There is a cost recovery fee for the Fatherhood Handbook only. *Pre-Registration required.

Quest for Authentic Manhood

Quest for Authentic Manhood
The Quest for Authentic Manhood is the foundational level or ground floor of manhood. This 24-session study focuses on a man's core identity and gives an overview of basic manhood issues. It will help men deal with various identity issues by looking back at past wounds and other things that may have distorted their idea of biblical masculinity. Throughout the course of the study, men will learn how to clearly define manhood and will finally be able to give a succinct and passionate answer to the questions, "What is a man?" and "What am I living to be?" This captivating journey helps men:

- Resolve wounds from their past
- Embrace a biblical definition of manhood
- Develop their own personal manhood plan
